The International Coordinating Council of the AMM held its first meeting in Rome from 31 October to 2 November 2002. Present were Fr. Robert Maloney, the Director General of the AMM; Fr. Benjamin Romo, Delegate for the Vincentian Family; Fr. Charles Shelby, International Coordinator of the AMM; Miss Martha Tapia, Fr. Janusz Zwolinski, and Sr. Marie-Yonide Midy D.C., Council Members. T

he agenda for the meeting included recommendations of the Director General, a report on the status of the AMM throughout the world, hopes for the future of the Association, the mission of the council, growth of the AMM, communication, formation, apostolate, and finances.

Among the tasks of the newly created international structure for the AMM include developing formation materials for members and leaders, offering an electronic newsletter on a new international web site, and assisting in the expansion of the AMM. The council will meet each year.
