GOLD COAST QLD, November 9, 2003 (catholicleader.com.au): Homeless single fathers and their children, who are sleeping in cars or on the beach each night, are the new face of poverty on the Gold Coast.  St Vincent de Paul Society Gold Coast regional president Stephen Murray said up to 25 homeless single fathers, with their children, were in this sort of plight every night on the tourist strip.   Visit the Australian site of the Congregation of the Mission for further details.
